Your records are private to your account, except details you choose to share. Private records and pictures are encrypted in storage. The server manages access to encryption keys; your device also encrypts its offline copy. Shared links reveal only the selected details.

Ready for work, even without service

Calendar has turned on Trust this device and Automatically renew to make everyday use easier. Your saved calendar is encrypted on this device. Refreshing or reopening requires your offline PIN. Signing in online with your Calendar password also verifies you. Renewal happens only after your account is verified online.

These settings are helpful on your own phone. Anyone who can use this browser profile may also be able to open your saved calendar, so turn device trust off on a shared or borrowed device. You can change either setting anytime in Account → Offline access.

Open Calendar online once and wait for “Ready for offline work” before leaving service. Photos must finish downloading. Signing out or choosing Lock now clears trusted access while keeping your saved choices; offline use does not extend its expiry.
